Description

Removal of tree due to its close proximity 18cm from the front stone porch of Askern Lodge. The tree is identified in the report as T4 (Holly tree).Its close proximity to the building is causing concern due to the fact that cracks have appeared in pointing of the stone and have been repaired. But the fear is the likelihood of longer term damage as the tree continues to grow and expand. I have no issue in planting a new holly tree somewhere in the grounds of Askern Lodge, but it would be cost inhibitive to purchase and plant one of similar size to the existing tree.
