Description

Discharge of Condition: 2 of LA11/2022/0112/F 2. Prior to the commencement of demolition works hereby approved and once a contractor has been appointed, a full Final Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) 'shall be submitted in writing to and approved in writing by the Planning Department of Derry City and Strabane District Council, to ensure effective avoidance and mitigation methodologies have been planned for the protection of the water environment. This plan shall contain, all the appropriate environmental mitigation contained within the Outline CEMP received on 17th January 2022. The approved final CEMP shall be implemented in accordance with the approved details and all works on site shall conform to the approved CEMP. The final CEMP shall include: - Detail on silt management and mitigation measures. - Detail all pollution prevention guidance - An emergency response plan in the event of a pollution incident. - Areas to accommodate temporary stockpiling of materials prior to removal and disposal off site. - Details of all plant and equipment to be used on site. - Plan indicating foundations and utilities including foul sewage system which are to remain in situ and those to be dug-out. Reason: To protect the features of River Faughan and Tributaries ASSI /SAC. 9 of LA11/2022/0112/F 9. Prior to the commencement of demolition works hereby approved and once a contractor has been appointed, a full Final Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) shall be submitted in writing to the Planning Department of Derry City and Strabane District Council, The Final CEMP shall include: a) a detailed construction work programme¿; b) identify any specific adverse noise, vibration and dust impacts (e.g. crushing, concrete breaking) arising from each phase of the ground and reinstatement works; c) detailed plans to minimise the risks to local residents from dust, noise and vibration. The plan must detail all the noise and dust mitigation measures required to protect amenity at nearby occupied properties. d) arrangements for community liaison and inclusion of a complaint procedure with named contacts with contact telephone number. The approved final CEMP shall be implemented in accordance with the approved details and all works on site shall conform to the approved CEMP. Reason: in the interests of residential amenity
