Horse Chestnut-: raise canopy locally to provide 1.5m clearance between the roof of the various structures beneath the tree and the underside of the tree’s canopy, raise the canopy locally to provide 2.5m clearance between ground level and the underside of the tree’s canopy, to reduce the tree’s overall height by approximately 3m, from approximately 17m to approximately 14m, to shape the tree’s canopy, from the current approximate cube to something more akin to a dome, to reduce the overhang over the neighbours’ properties to the ownership boundary, to thin the reduced canopy by no more than 15% of the leaf area by removing smaller growth to encourage air flow through the crown, and to remove the deadwood
