Description

Hybrid planning application comprising: enabling works comprising access, earthworks and site levelling, drainage, service yard and relocation of bus stops, installation of site wide hoarding, diversion of services, demolition of out-buildings and existing cycle shed, and other associated site preparatory works. Outline element (with all matters reserved) for the demolition of physical sciences, EIC, Block A, and Block D buildings, the erection of two new teaching and research buildings and a new energy centre (Up to 47,000 sq. m of new educational floorspace) ; refurbishment and repurposing of the Physics building and Block B, together with the creation of a new University Green, including landscaping, pedestrian enhancements, infrastructure, and other associated works.
