Horse Chestnut and the reference is 16/00002/MIX and Label T4, The tree is suffering from Bleeding Canker and the only part of the tree that still retains any leaves is a large bough at the rear of the tree. The top 60% of the tree and all of the front is virtually leafless and shedding its bark. There are several patches of dark sticky liquid oozing from cracks in the bark - Fell.
