Description

NGED are required to upgrade an existing section of overhead line from 2 wire to 3 wire at Trewint, Cornwall, PL15 7TG. Attached are two plans showing the extent of the proposed works. NGED propose to install a 3rd wire between poles 45NHV8 and 45NHV21 which consist of 12 spans and approximately 1km of overhead line. If any poles along the route require replacement as part of the 3rd wire installation the poles shall be replaced on a like for like basis in the existing positions. NGED will discuss any pole change requirements with the landowners and confirm consent prior to the commencement of works. The 3rd wire scheme shall conform with current overhead line design policies and all works shall be undertaken following NGED's standard techniques and policies.
