Description

Proposed improvement of access and of safety around the castle with additional handrails to include: new handrail on the outer edge of the steps up to the magazine roof and removal of the old handrail along the inside wall; new railings around the magazine roof; new railings around the bastion and a new handrail up to it, with the wall on the north east side raised slightly and made good to meet the railings; new steps formed / built up to the bastion; new small infill section of railing between north east perimeter railings and gun emplacement.
