Description

Proposal to upgrade an existing overhead line between 43BNB17 and 43BNB22 and between 43BNB19 and 43BND2 and between 43BNB24 and 43BNB37 which is approximately 1100 metres of third wire installation to make the network 3 phase. At 43BNB37 a new lazy leg pole will be installed beside the main pole to support the new 3 phase transformer. National Grid have identified that poles 43BNB18 and 43BND1 will need to be replaced during the works and there may be other poles along the route that require changing during the works. Any pole changes will be carried out on a like for like replacement basis with the old poles being removed once the lines have been transferred onto the new poles.
