Listed building consent for external and internal alteration of the Palais de Danse in connection with proposed reconfiguration and refurbishment including: alterations to facilitate a new main entrance area and relevant highway works; a new attic extension to the Small Hall with new roof to the Dancehall; demolition of the existing garage structure and erection of new 2 storey building with sculpture studio, artist residency accommodation in the yard; new roof terrace accessed from the Small Hall and green roof above the yard building; installation of new windows and doors; air source heat pumps, other associated plant equipment and other associated works. Internal works including reconfiguration of ground floor layout to facilitate new shop, museum layout, new stair core and lift, reconfiguration of first floor small hall to accommodate new WCs, and kitchen space and other associated works.
