Description

Following a customer request for a connection at three phase to facilitate connection of low carbon technology and EVCP, NGED are required to install a third wire on an existing overhead network for 49 spans, from 43LA84 - 43LAL45 and 43LAN1 - 43LAN4, totaling approximately 3953m. There will be a requirement to replace pole 43LAL45 due to its condition. It will be replaced on a like for like basis. It will support the new three phase pole mounted transformer on a cantilevered platform.From this pole a new underground cable will be installed in private land to provide the three phase connection.Appropriate traffic management will be undertaken where the third wire work will involve crossing the highway.
