Description

National Grid are proposing to upgrade an existing overhead line from 2 wire to 3 wire between poles 43LW6 and 43LW12. This is part of a wider scheme providing customers with 3 phase electricity near St Juliot, Boscastle. There will be one new pole 43LW13 (as shown on the attached plan) which will support the transformer and low voltage connections but the remainder of the line in this section between 43LW12 and 43LW16 will be place underground. The works should improve the existing network arrangement and will be removing overhead lines and poles across a busy campsite. The 3rd wire scheme is approximately 550mtrs in length, 43LW11 will be changed due to condition replacement requirement and 43LW12 shall be changed due to a change in construction type. Access will be via existing agricultural tracks and using pre-agreed routes with the farmer.
