Description

provide two three phase connections at Bodinnick, Fowey and to facilitate these connections there is a requirement to add a third wire over 8 spans for approximately 550m, from pole 43MAC19 - 43MAC27 (highlighted in yellow on the scheme design plan numbered CE4702529). We have also been requested to remove two overhead spans of HV network from pole 43MAC27 - 43MAC29, which will require an additional stay wire to be installed on pole 43MAC27, position as indicated on the attached plan (highlighted in red). An existing pole numbered 43MAC28 will be dismantled. These spans will be replaced by an underground cable, indicated by the brown line. The pole mounted transformers on poles 43MAC26 and 43MAC29 will be upgraded to three phase but there will be no change to the poles or the look of the equipment on them (highlighted in green). We will also be required to upgrade the existing aerial bunched conductor from pole 43MAC26 - 43-3172-1 to 4c 95 ABC. Again, whilst this is a slightly larger conductor it will not be significantly more noticeable than the existing conductor (highlighted in yellow).
