Description

Pre-application advice for rebuild and conserve one building on the oldest section of the Manor Tannery known as The Limes in Grampound. We want to rebuild a ruined building to conserve it, make it safe and open a single room at first floor level to be used as an information area for the heritage site, volunteer meeting room and community activity/visiting group room. The building was originally built in two stages. The first part having 3 stone walls and an open side. The extension having one new stone wall as an extension to the original building, a double door opening to the front and a wooden wall to the third side sharing the fourth wall with the original build. The extension will need to be cleared under archaeological supervision and then will be a heritage rebuild as described above.
