Description

Two Sycamore species trees identified on the supplied sketch plan as T1 &, T2. Proposed works is to remove both T1 & T2 to ground level and treat stumps to prevent regrowth, using a local professional, qualified and insured contractor. These have grown to a concerning size in height and trunk width, with close proximity to Deene End Road, neighboring properties and the substantial dry stone wall surrounding the garden. Deene End is a busy pedestrian and vehicle route to the Weldon Cricket Club and used by schoolchildren avoiding the narrow Oundle Road pathway. First concern, observing the branch sway during stormy weather, is collapse onto the road / path / adjoining properties. Second issue is the continuing rapid root growth and ground movement observed, potentially causing the dry stone wall to collapse towards the road used as a walkway.
