Description
A1 (Lombardy Poplar), multi stemmed around 18 metres. The tree is located on the north side entrance into the premises, we would like to totally remove this tree, there is substantial visible ground damage resulting from the tree surfacing roots lifting the tarmac, potentially this could also affect the pedestrian pavement running alongside where the tree is sited. The tree is multi stemmed of which has bark inclusion on each stem at the base, which is a threat in high winds and is very close to a blind corner on a main road and will only get worse over time as it grows taller and will be susceptible to disease and decay etc. It has no wildlife or amenity value in my opinion, the owner intends to undertake planting a native tree belt alongside the (50 m) field fence with conservation in mind. Neighbouring property Sutton Hall Lodge occupants have also complained that the tree completely denudes them of summer late evening sunshine/light into their garden.
