Fell (T1) Chestnut 16m height Fell (T2) Sycamore 15m Fell (T3) Sycamore 13m Reasons for removal: T1 Chestnut - roots are showing signs of pushing the retaining wall on to the pavement where pedestrians walk, potentially causing an injury. Two very large overhanging branches - one over neighbours property & other over the road that has suffered repeated damage from (and to) high sided delivery vehicles. Roots from the tree are extensive and are severely lifting the driveway, wall and drains which have / will require further repair. There have been reports of falling branches on the pavement and neighbour’s property. T2 Sycamore Removal Noticed it didn’t come in to leaf last year, showing clear signs of decline. Growth is very uneven / one sided and at some point in the past (we are the new owners) it has been badly damaged with a chainsaw (presumably trying to control climbing ivy). Very close to the pavement and if it was to fall would hit our property. Roots from the tree are likewise causing damage to the wall, drains & driveway. T3 Sycamore Reduction Perfectly healthy tree requires no more than maintenance. Reduce central leader by 2.5m and lateral branches by 1.5m. All 3 trees have not been maintained at all for a considerable amount of time (>10yrs) and consequently are no longer in a position where normal management, pruning etc is either feasible or sufficient We wish to re plant in place of where the existing trees T1 & T2 are with Silver Birch preferably.
