Description

The tree species is difficult to identify-the gardener thinks it is an Oak, but we saw it in winter and the canopy looks more Beech like. It has significant damage to one stem-probably from a fire, and it has a large amount of squirrel damage to the branches. It is growing underneath the canopy of several other large deciduous and pine trees. It has two codominant stems. We want to fell the tree to a low stump.
