Description

Cedar tree to side of house, large branch broke off and damaged property roof earlier this year, emergency remedial work was done at the time. The tree surgeon is now recommending light work, to remove weight from branches and ensure safety to the dwelling. This will total crown reduction of approximately 10%, no alteration to tree height, but lateral branch length reduction of up to max of 2m. Whilst keeping natural tree shape but reducing the longer branches with weight of cedar cones, which risk further tree damage. Silver birch has one overhanging branch that the tree surgeon is recommending is removed to give tree balance and prevent risk of damage. Therefore no overall reduction of tree height or crown spread or height, only reduction of one errant offshoot branch by c.4m, to bring back in line with crown spread of the main tree.
