G1 . Oak and Sycamore Group – Remove/reduce selected limbs to crown lift to 6 metres from ground level. REASON The current canopy growth on these trees is being forced over the road due to suppression from the larger trees above. Shortening of the overhang will mitigate the issue in the mid term and encourage growth back from the road. G2. Oak and Sycamore - Sycamore, fell to ground level REASON The tree is heavily suppressed and has a large limb that extends over the road. If the limb was removed it would leave the tree unsuitable for retention due to the lack of canopy remaining. Oak – Remove the limb highlighted in the photograph REASON Pruning the limb for clearance over the road would just leave the limb to a poor pruning point and it would be better to remove the limb to mitigate the issue of clearance over the road. T3. Sycamore – Remove the limb with the cavity at the elbow. REASON To remove the risk of failure of the limb into the woodland area (which is used by the client) T4. Sycamore – Remove the low limb hanging over the neighbours garden. REASON To provide clearance over the neighbours Conifer and garden.
