Description

Listed Building Consent for the Repair works to the lock bywash to prevent water ingress/seepage. This includes: the installation of a limecrete fillet between the weir and the bywash front apron; the packing of open joints in the front bywash apron with NHL 5 lime mortar; the packing of the weir's open vertical joints with oakum and finishing the joint with NHL 5 lime mortar and the lifting (filling of voids with puddle clay) and relaying of the bywash rear apron on NHL 5 lime mortar.
