Description

Large Sweet Chestnut at the rear boundary of the property. Sectional dismantle to ground level. Reasons: Decay has been identified at the base of the tree with evidence of Honey Fungus in the damaged areas. The is present on a number of buttresses on the compost heap and fence side of the tree. There also appears to be vascular damage that extends up the trunk section of the tree. The tree leans towards the property at the rear and there is a footpath at the rear of the tree that serves the School. Access to the tree is limited with heavy machinery so it would be prudent to remove the tree whilst it is still in suitable condition to undertake aerial access and sectional removal.
