Description

Chelsea Cottage has been neglected for many years and is in need updating to modern standards. Primarily this application is for the addition of a second storey to the single level part of house to allow installation of two first floor bathrooms and an office room/extra bedroom in line with modern living and working. While building up the external wall of the new storey insulation will be added to the external wall, with the introduction of modern airflow vents (currently missing) while updating all heating, super insulating the roof and tackling the walls which suffer from rising damp which has led to extensive mould throughout the building.
