Description
The application refers to T1 & T2 within the plan titled 32 Windmill Drive Plan Revised. The tree referred as T1 is an Ash Tree approx 30 metres tall with a crown spread of over 20 metres, span reaching from the canal embankment at the corner of the gardens boundaries from number 30 & 32 Windmill Drive and covering the majority of the back garden at number 32. Some of the branches nearly touching the roof of the property at number 32. The tree referred as T2 is a Sycamore Tree approx 26 metres tall with a span of about 12 metres covering most of the garage building at 32 Windmill Drive. Both trees pose a risk for people and property at 32 Windmill Drive. This was highlighted by a tree surgeon specialist and a surveyor (survey uploaded in the documents). We propose the Crown reduction for T2 of 6 metres, bringing it down to a total crown diameter of 6 metres. For T1 we propose either the removal of the tree and replacement with a younger tree, or at least a Crown reduction of 12 metres, bringing it down to a total crown diameter of not over 8-10 metres.
