T3 - Ash - crown thinning by 10%-15% and crown reduction to reduce height by 2-3m and lateral branches up to 1-1.5m T4 - Sweet Chestnut - reduce by 4-5m all round to previous pollard points Reasoning for the works is that the property managing company/residents are worried about the pollard lapsing and becoming unstable in the future, and similar with the ash, to provide a smaller canopy for future fail safing and wanting to be able to create a manageable tree stock without the risk of major failures in the future. Also to reduce the overhang onto the road/path side.
