Remove epicormic growth on the trunk to the main forks and clear off the main stem where present. Remove deadwood 2cm+ in diameter. Crown lift secondary lateral branches to 5 metres from ground level. Reasons. To clear lower trunks maintaining clear trunks and allowing light beneath the main crown of the trees.
