Description

Replace the remaining windows in the property and one external door to the rear with new windows which will be of an identical design and fabrication to those already being replaced under the previous approvals. In addition the badly degraded soffits and fascias on the upper level dormer windows will be repaired and repainted in white as per the existing. Remove the glazed roof of the conservatory and replace it with a tiled roof retaining the existing supports and installing additional internal supports as per a structural engineers' recommendations. The roof tiling will be in identical tiles to the main property and indeed will be as per the tiled roof of Park Mill to which the cottage is attached. Internally a ceiling will be constructed within the conservatory such that a fully insulated roof space can be provided.
