TPO Sycamore - Fell: The tree is within the garden of 2 Curzon Mews, Mrs Breed is paying the bill, the owner of the tree has agreed. (we don't have the details of the neighbour, Mrs Breed has discussed the works with the neighbour and although the neighbour won't pay for the works is happy for Mrs Breed to pay) Sycamore – Fell to ground level. Reason – It is felt by residents close to the tree that it has outgrown its location close to the properties. The resident at 4 Curzon Mews finds the control of the debris and honeydew from aphids very difficult to control. Crown raising and pruning of lower limbs has been undertaken a couple of times but this is a short lived solution and pruning of the crown often results in more vigorous regrowth. Landscaping has been undertaken in the gardens beneath the tree and this has been heavily affected by the tree residues, with few practical solutions being available to the issues present. A previous application for the removal of the tree was submitted a few years ago but this was never acted upon. Could this be considered in the application process.
