Tree 1. Alder (TPO) located to the front of the property. (Designation T19 on TPO Map Finder) Proposed work: Removal of ivy, 1.5 metre reduction and crown thin. We are concerned about the branches overhanging over both the public road and our driveway, as during windy periods, large branches have blown down onto our cars. We will be working with a tree surgeon to check safety and major deadwood where necessary. Group TPO (Designation G3 on TPO Map Finder) Tree 2. Silver Birch (Group TPO???) located to the front of the property. Please could you confirm that this is subject to the group TPO as it would appear to be out of the boundary line. Proposed work: If it is, we would like to do a 2 metre reduction and crown thin plus major deadwood. Tree 3. Silver Birch (Group TPO) located to the front of the property. Proposed work: This is 20ft from our house and as it is towering over the building, it is of concern to us (root spread and above ground, in heavy winds). We would like to remove if possible, leaving Tree 2 above in place. Our garden has an abundance of trees and bushes to enable wildlife to thrive. If we are unable to do this then a 2 metre reduction and crown thin plus major deadwood. Tree 4. Copper Beech (Group TPO) located to the rear of the property. Proposed work: This is 24 metres from our property and is very domineering both in terms of safety when it is windy and light. Our work from home office is located at this side of the house and it is very dark. We propose a 2 metre reduction and crown thin plus major deadwood (if we could do more than 2 metres, this would be welcome, please confirm).
