Application Details
Description
Two Lawsons cypress (G1) - Felling trees to relieve suppression of other higher amenity value. Following a previous application, 15/3361T, Cheshire East Council have previously permitted the felling of 3 Lawson Cypresses to allow more appropriate trees to flourish within a very congested group. The assessment by the Tree officer at this time was that removing these trees would relieve suppression of other trees that have the potential to offer higher public amenity value in the long term. It was deemed acceptable as they are not considered to be of high amenity value due to poor form contributing little to the overall amenity the group offers. The impact of the proposed work was deemed low. We believe that prior to purchasing our home in 2016 - one of these trees was felled as per the previous successful application. We request that the remaining two trees that have continued to suppress the higher amenity trees are felled without replacement as was the finding of the last assessment. We would also be grateful in the Holly closest to Marsh Lane could have a crown lift.
