Sandringham Court 1. Large Beech – Cut Ivy at the base. No app req. 2. Sycamore – Crown lift to 5 metres from ground level by the removal of 10cm diameter limbs only. Remove low rubbing section and install a bracing cable between the two main stems. To crown lift over the road and remove rubbing limb. Cabled to be installed to support potentially weak union. 3. Ash and Ash saplings – Fell all to ground level and treat the stumps to prevent regrowth. Ash dieback present in the trees which are poorly located and offer no long term potential. 4. 2x Sycamore, to the rear of the Hornbeam. Sycamore & Ash to the right of the Hornbeam. Fell to ground level and treat the stumps to prevent regrowth. All these trees will outgrow there location in the longer term. 5. Sycamore - Reduce approximately 5 secondary lateral limbs on the property side of the tree by 2-2.5 metres to reduce overhang. Works aimed at reducing canopy overhang on the property side of the tree due to issues with roof drainage channels. 6. Yew – Reduce in height by 3-3.5 metres and prune to shape. Improve light at the side of the property and reduce needle drop into the gutters. 7. Holly Grp. – Reduce all trees in the group to approximately the height of dead stump within the hedge. (This would generally be down to the point of the previous reduction) To control the height of the trees and maintain the group as a hedge.
