Description

T1 Oak- Mitigate minor hazard or loading concerns, by way of localised, selective reduction (1–2m maximum) of specific limbs only, mainly concentrated on the lateral crown portion extended over property. Selective end weight reduction 1- 2m maximum to the remaining crown portion extended over open space, Removal of deadwood (retain ecological deadwood where safe) only remove/reduce visually obvious defective branches. Avoid heavy reduction; maintain crown form per BS3998. Cuts should be made back to suitable growth points with a minimum ratio of 1:3 (replacement branch at least one-third the diameter of the removed material). Ensure final pruning cuts respect the branch bark ridge and collar. Maintain natural crown form and symmetry - subject to TPO 19/2000
