Reason: To enable future inspections and reduce dominance in crown T4 Irish yew Works: Reduce by half. (C.1.5m). Reason: To remove dead and thin growth and encourage new shoots T8 Common ash Works: Crown lift secondary growth over apple tree (south west) to c. 4m, lightly reduce crown on remaining sides by 1-1.5m to achieve a more flowing crown profile and reduce growth over parking areas. Prune stubs from past pruning operations. Reason: In interest of appearance and to allow more light to apple beneath crown T9 Apple Works: Reduce to old topping points c.3m. Reason: In interest of appearance in context of garden and to allow easy cropping of fruit T10 Apple Works:Reduce to old topping points c.3m. Reason: In interest of appearance in context of garden and to allow easy cropping of fruit T12 Lawson cypress Works: Reduce (top) to around 6m to match height of adjacent cypress. Reason: In interest of appearance and to match adjacent cypress T13 Common beech Works: Reduce east lowest primary by around 5m to sit within crown of remainder and subordinate apical dominance on this side. Reason: To avoid east limb becoming dominant and to encourage apical growth of main leaders T14 European lime Works: Remove to near ground. Grind stump. Reason: To avoid ongoing damage to wall and allow wall rebuilding
