T1 x Horse Chestnut - Heavily managed in recent years and now stands as a pollard with regrowth from 7 metres to approximately 9 metres. There is significant decay and bark necrosis all around the base and on the main stem, with a column of decay internally noted on the main stem from ground level to at least 3 metres when hit with a sounding mallet. The tree is nearing the end of its safe useful life expectancy and the owner wishes to remove it and plant a replacement tree as part of the refurbishment of the property and garden.
