T1 X London Plane tree- Fell #1) which is growing very close (75cm) to historic boundary wall to property. The root system extends under the wall, pushing against the wall, and causing progressive damage and splits and now risking collapse of wall. Wall is a boundary wall onto public road and currently is unsafe and in need of repair. Additionally, the canopy of the tree does cause shading, affecting plants, hedging underneath it. The tree is mature but not particularly old or historic compared to the many others on the property. It is surrounded by a number of other trees. Very happy to replant with a replacement tree further away from the wall if required. Labelled 'London Plane' on sketch plan. Proposed to fell.
