Amended Application. T1 x Leylandii We would like to reduce the height of this hedge by approximately 3ft and trim back the sides to the point to allow fresh growth. It is currently overgrown and impacting upon our home and the neighbouring flats in terms of their view and light coming into their properties. Though difficult to see from the attached photos, the hedge has now grown significantly above the height of our neighbour’s lower floor window. The hedge is within 1ft of that window & significantly affecting his view. Photo 0490 illustrates the height of his lower floor windows and the obscured window on the adjacent wall. While it isn't completely obscuring his view, it is impeding on it. Reducing the hedge by a significant height will alleviate this problem and allow us to consider a suitable replacement hedge before the Leylandii grows back to the point of being a problem.
