Description

T1 x Walnut - To reduce lateral canopy by 30% by removing up to 3.5 metre sections from branch tips (back to previous) clearing weight from neighbours property (summerhouse) and removing major deadwood >40mm diameter. This tree has high value habitat, including a hollow roughly 1.2m x 0.3m, which could easily provide a roost for many years to come. There is loose bark around crown break and near the largest audible hollows, with black exuldate weeping from a few breaks in the bark. Though the upper canopy is dying back, the tree likely has many more years to thrive. This specification hopes to mitigate the risk of large limb failure so that the structure of habitat is maintained for as long as possible.
