Application Details
Description
T1 x Ginkgo Biloba - at rear of property and next to patio courtyard area, Remove to ground and replace with male species of Ginkgo to rear of courtyard on south east side. Additional information: the tree stands as one of two Ginkgo to the rear of a courtyard. Structural concerns over the presence of a large bark inclusion and proximity to the building aside, the tree is female variety and drops prolific amounts of fruit over stonework and the courtyard patio area. The nuisance caused, the toxic fruit pulp and damage to stonework has prompted the owners to request its removal. Replanting will be provided within the grounds and will be a male Ginkgo. The visual loss to the surroundings are considered negligible as the tree is obscured from wider public view, and is almost entirely obscured when viewed from the rear of the churchyard to the west. Please see accompany photos for context.
