T4969 Oak in the rear garden. An overall balanced reduction of the crown to leave it with a radius of 3.5-5.0m from the centre of the trunk and a height of approximately 12 -13.0m. Retain all internal epicormic growth to encourage the formation of a denser more compact crown. Stabilise larger deadwood by shortening to leave stable stubs for habitat creation. All cuts to be made back to a suitable side branch of not less than 1/3 diameter of the parent stem, which maintains a flowing branch line in character of the tree. Crown raise of the footpath to give 2.5m head room.
