Description

There is a (one) large apple tree in the garden of 18 Mountsorrel Lane. It has a large hole through the base of the trunk, and a hollow approximately 1.8m above the ground. Both areas shown signs of current/former insect burrowing. There are also several dead branches, and the tree is leaning towards the neighbouring house and overhanging another garden. We believe the tree is unsafe and is unsuitable to maintain. We would like to cut down the tree, then remove and plug the stump. We will replace it with smaller patio fruit trees.
