Description

Management of woodland area: Removal of identified trees allows for growth of existing trees and new replacement trees. New tree varieties include Hornbeam, Beech, Silver Birch, and Hazel. Management of the Orchard area: Trees identified in the main orchard were removed due to the rotting of their trunks, which affected their structural integrity. Remove an apple tree in the small orchard to allow space for the healthy growth of the remaining fruit trees. Reducing the crown of the remaining apple trees allows for continued health growth (to be done in stages). Removal of two damson trees that are unhealthy and have grown pencil style are leaning over to one side with signs of the roots protruding from the ground
