Variation (or removal) of condition numbers 1,2,3 of planning permission CB/20/02805/FULL (Demolition of the existing building on the site and the creation of a flatted development comprising eight new residential units): 1) External materials to the building: To change from previously proposed render (K-Rend or similar approved in Limestone White) to a white brick. Change from the previously specified aluminium windows/doors and precast sills to UPVC windows with integrated cills. 2) Roof alteration: Dropping the level of the crown roof, so it becomes a sunken room - ridge level will remain and externally changes will not be visible. Reason is to accommodate roof equipment, keep it out of sight and provide save access (protection from fall etc). 3) Change to the energy strategy: The energy statement provided at planning stage made reference to electric Hydrogen-Zero fusion technology boiler. We have established that this product previously offered by Hydro Zero Ltd is no longer available, so we are intending to introduce ASHPs. This will result indifferent (albeit still complaint) CO2 reductions and as outlined in item (2) above require accommodation at roof level.
