Description

Proposed works include:- - Rationalisation of the existing informal parking area to provide dedicated parking spaces for visitors to the monument (located on the opposite side of the road) - provision of an interpretation and picnic area including concrete seating and interpretation panels - provision of an access path from the car park to the interpretation area Proposed works relate to works approved under Scheduled Monument Consent SMC13 24-25 which is for works to undertake repairs to the gun emplacement structures and control bunker (SMR No LDY 001:013) and to improve public access and interpretation of the scheduled monument
