Description

The culvert carries the Sunnybrook ordinary watercourse from the grid at the top, over a length of about 360m to the outfall by the River Teifi. Replacement of the collapsed section of culvert, together with installation of a new outfall and headwall structure, will prevent the catastrophic failure and flood risk. Repositioning of the outfall approximately 50m to the east takes the infrastructure out of the deep ravine, allowing access for maintenance and reducing erosion issues in the ravine. A new safe access point will be created in order to easily allow routine maintenance and visual inspections. This will allow the early identification of any issues
