Description

The first floor of the stable block (NE Elevation) has a structural issue with the floor, On inspection the joint has rotted an the joist hangers have subsequently dropped. On one side of the Office Floor steel joists have been installed, proposal is to undertake similar structural beam to replace the damaged wooden one. The Ceiling will be locally removed to allow access, pad-stones installed on the support walls, Flinch Beam fitted and joists tied into New Beams. On completion of structural element Cafe Room will be returned to its current condition, There will be no visible difference in the visual aesthetics of the ground floor or the floor above. NBGW wants to undertake this work 01/11/23 when Cafe can be closed due tot he restricted numbers of visitors at that time of the year
