Description

To improve the existing vehicle access to Maerdy Wood. Better visibility will allow lorries to safely extract timber. By improving the access and enabling lorries to turn left at the end of the track it will also minimise the time lorries will be travelling on an unclassified road thus providing the shortest route onto the B-road. The proposed development would include removing 26m of hedgerow and widening the existing entrance by 15m from 10m to 25m. The proposed access would be made up of 200mm depth to dust of 75mm crush and run, finished off with 25mm MOT Type 1 at 75mm depth
