Request for screening opinion under Regulation 6 of the Town and Country Planning Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Regulations 2017 for demolition of the existing buildings on site and construction of two buildings providing up to approximately 250 Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) units, along with up to 50 self-contained affordable apartments across approximately eight storeys plus ground and basement. Additionally, the Proposed Development is expected to provide approximately 1,300 m2 GIA of leisure / cultural space (Sui Generis), and approximately 300 m2 GIA of retail floorspace (Class E), together with access, landscaping and associated works.
