Initial Works ,Jan_Feb 2026,Carry out selective removal of the largest, damaged, and diseased stems. No more than one-third of the total stems will be removed at this stage. All work will be undertaken in accordance with BS 3998: Recommendations for Tree Work.Ongoing Management, Subsequent coppicing will take place on a 1 - 5 year cycle during the winter period, harvesting no more than one-third of the stems each time. Material will be used for pea shoots and sustainable canes for the College. Smaller canes pencil thick can be harvested annually, larger bean canes more 5 yearly. No more than a third at a time
