Description

Installation of a cover to existing slurry tower.Under the governments Clean Air Strategy, all slurry stores must be covered by 2027 to reduce ammonia emissions to the atmosphere. The cover proposed is shown on the submitted plan. A post is erected in the centre of the tank with a plastic cover put over. The height at the apex would by 5.13m above the height of the existing slurry tank walls, with a total height of 9.13m. The diameter of the existing tank is 33.54m.
