See attached survey for recommendations, specification, and reasons for work. Trees are silver maples.Tree 1 - Remove all upper crown regrowth and shorten upper stems to approx 4m below the current knuckles. This will reduce the trees overall height by approx 10m. Remove dead wood and shorten remaining lateral growth by approx 2-3m to retain framework of small branches.Tree 2 - Shorten over-extended branches on all sides by 2-3m, cutting to suitable branch unions where possible.Tree 3 - Shorten over-extended branches on all sides by 2-3m, cutting to suitable branch unions where possible.Tree 4 - Shorten over-extended branches on all sides by 2-3m, cutting to suitable branch unions where possible.Tree 5 - Shorten all upper crown regrowth back to knuckles, approx 4-5m. At the time of the reduction, check all knuckles for decay and if required, reduce the stem height to 1m below decay. Shorten all lateral growth from previous pruning, by 2-3m and check all attachment points (knuckles) and treat as above. Remove epicormic growth up to 6m above ground level.Tree 6 - Shorten all lateral growth back from previous pruning, by 2-3m and check all attachment points. Shorten all upper crown regrowth back to knuckles, approx 4-5m. At the time of the reduction, check all knuckles for decay and if required, reduce the stem height to 1m below decay, treat as above.
