1 - Bay Tree - Reduce foliage by approx 1m and trim foliage 2-3m from the top and 2m all the way round sides (25%-1/3rd of foliage)Tree surgeon/ gardening company (Exclusive Garden Care Limited), who provided previous quote, advised this would be appropriate action to support healthy future growth of tree. Advice provided was that (a) a trim will be sufficient and a reduction in the height by at least 1m unless want it to grow taller, (b) Just got to be careful and not trim too much as bay trees do not like heavy trimming, and (c) Spring to early Summer is the right time to do this work.
